Welcome to the Connectivity and Collaboration Podcast.
In this first episode, we are joined by Jess Chandler and Rory Cook from Prototype Publishing, a publisher committed to supporting new voices and creating new possibilities through their interdisciplinary projects. Delving into difficult topics such as inclusion, diversity and more, they’ll tell us what separates them from mainstream publishers, and how collaboration is key to expanding readership.
We are MA Publishing students at UAL. We come from all over the world, each of us bringing fresh insights and creative new ways to connect, learn and work with one another.
And now we want to connect with you.
On April 27th 2023, we want to bring you an insightful, and more importantly, impactful digital event centred around connectivity and collaboration. With the help of experienced professionals from the publishing industry, we want to open up dialogue around why now, more than ever, collaborating and connecting with one another is important to the publishing world.
We aim to tackle hard questions focused on how inclusivity is handled within the publishing space, how digital technology is shaping the ways publishers and audiences connect with each other and the best way to innovate with those around the globe.
We hope to spark interesting conversations in the wake of these innovations and shifts in the publishing sphere, drawing back the curtain on the future of publishing. And we want to do it with you.
