Christopher Wold, Sales & Business Development Director at whitefox, is joining us to speak about Large vs Small Independent Publishing. Chris has worked at Harper Collins as well as indie publishers and prides himself in his experience of growing sales, recruitment and overseeing marketing goals.

Daniel Li

Daniel is the Marketing and Production manager for ACA Publishing and Sinoist Books based in the UK, responsible for shepherding a title from raw manuscript to complete printed title to preparing marketing packages. An upcoming title by Sinoist is a translation of All Quiet in Peking: Under Turbulent Skies by Li Heping.

Founder of Un Libro Es Un Libro, Natalia Silberleib, will be discussing visual arts, cultural studies and the history of books. Natalia is a researcher, professor and editor and in her studio, holds seminars and workshops about editorial practices. Natalia looks at publishing practices in the field of art and has an interest in publishing as artistic practice

Rita Faire Lecturer at the University of Stirling

Despite her general distrust of people in hats, Rita Faire wears many professional ones herself – writer, editor, graphic designer, doctoral researcher, among many others. She is a Lecturer of Publishing Studies at the University of Stirling. She’s a board member of Researchers Exploring Inclusive Youth Literature (REIYL) and The Lit Platform. Rita’s work has appeared in various platforms, from magazines to essay anthologies.
